Breakfast at Sri Durga with Angela and Sara. Dark inside, and full of set dosas and idly, and the magical sweet kesari bath. All washed down with sweet, sweet chai.

But wait, who do I spy outside?

My landlady has three pugs: Shiba and her son, Telly, and daughter, Siri. I had a visit from Shiba and Telly this afternoon. Shiba stayed for a short while, but Telly decided to jump up on the couch with me and sack out. He snores and grunts like a little piglet.

And this evening at dinner, Noelle’s pup, Loka, joined us. Just yesterday, she scooped him up off a busy road, where he was wandering and crying. He’s about 8 weeks old. In a typical rags-to-riches story, he is moving to the US when her stay is done here.
